Organising videos with folders

2 min readFeaturesLast updated 15 June 2026

Step-by-step guide

1

Create a new folder

From your Dashboard, click the "New Folder" button in the left sidebar or at the top of the video grid. A dialog will appear asking you to name the folder. Type a descriptive name (e.g. "Client Project — ACME" or "Python Course") and click Create.

2

Add videos to a folder by dragging

On the Dashboard grid view, click and drag a video card onto a folder in the left sidebar. The folder will highlight in red to indicate it is ready to accept the drop. Release to move the video into the folder.

3

Add videos using the folder dropdown

Alternatively, hover over a video card and click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner of the card. Select "Move to Folder" from the menu, then pick the destination folder from the list. This method also works on the video detail page.

4

Browse and manage folders

Click any folder in the left sidebar to view only the videos inside it. To rename or delete a folder, right-click the folder name in the sidebar and choose the action you want. Deleting a folder does not delete the videos — they are moved back to the root of your library.
